The Lions standing on a rectangular bases support the lamp dishes connected to the top each of the saddles. The lions have small ears and finely modelled fangs are exposed in the mouth. The mane hangs down the neck in tear drop like tufts.
The incised saddles are fitted with stirrups and a blanket underneath. The tail loops upwards to the top of the rump. A plum green glaze covers the whole figure except for the bottom of the base burnt reddish brown in the firing with some of the grey body exposed.
